From the shadows of the Rhigos Mountain the players and club members of Hirwaun RFC have set the alarm clock on the War memorial which stands outside the clubhouse for August 1st.
Beach Rugby Wales are pleased to confirm that once again the Hirwaun Vets and Pups will be taking to the sand in this years event.
Club spokesman Greg Williams said “We have taken part several times now and although we have not brought back any silverware to the club, we are still winners as the club and players all bond during the day all set for forthcoming season. The day is a great way for teams to give a little run out for new comers and players like me who find it easier to get around a smaller pitch compared to the Welfare Ground…lol”
